This product, a fuel pressure regulator, received largely positive feedback from customers for its reliable performance, flexibility, and quality materials. Users noted that it was easy to install, adjust, and fit onto various engine setups, including on vintage models. It succeeded in controlling fuel pressure accurately, often resolving issues like vapor locking and overpressurization caused by other pumps. It was praised for its classic, retro aesthetic and its compact shape. Some pointed out inconsistencies in pressure regulation, but a majority of reviews highlighted how effective it was. Direct comparisons to other brands illustrated it as a preferred option due to its precise pressure readings. It's particularly recommended for multiple-carburetor setups, demonstrating its functionality. However, durability and longevity could be areas for possible improvement.

Worked very well.
I put a Carter electric fuel pump in the trunk of a 1949 Packard, to replace the original on the engine. It was causing some "seep" on the old carb. Loved the adjustability of this unit. I was able to get adequate volume, without over pressurizing the carb. I mounted it immediately downstream of the fuel pump, in the trunk. I suspected a potential problem, and left room for the install. Looks great also.

Product needs improvement
I have received three of the regulators. The first one was on my car for 4 years and 7500 miles before it failed to regulate (reduce) the fuel pressure. I then ordered a replacement and it began leaking from under the adjustment knob after about an hour and 48 miles. I now have a replacement for the second one and it is working ok after about 120 miles of use. The pressure is set at 3 psi. I took the first one apart to see how it failed and the diaphragm was wrinkled and expanded. I use 91 octane E10 gasoline.

I put this in a 50 Plymouth with an electric fuel pump with 7 psi. The regulator started leaking at the adjustable pressure dial after 10 months. Glad I didn't have a fire!!!
