The product, a generator bracket, has mixed feedback. Its high quality and fit to the intake manifold are praised, but flaws such as its small mounting bracket and limiting size cause dissatisfaction. Yet, it is considered better compared to creating your own. It's compatible with original generators but not Powergen units, leading to potential damage in the latter scenario. It's notably high-priced and doesn't include essential strap. Despite its quality, usability and practicality can vary.

I knew going in that the power gen was larger, and it would some reworking to fit, the power gen,but it sure beats trying to make one your self. the big problem i have is how small the bracket is where it mounts to the intake manifold, it is to small and it makes a very sloppy fit. I had to weld up one side where it slides into the slot in the manifold. I tried 3 different manifolds, stock, Edmans and an Edelbrock! ps use the power gen strap to make it work.

I bought the generator bracket to relocate my generator to clear a supercharger. The bracket was very high quality and it fit very well onto the intake manifold. It did not clear my 3-71 blower housing.

Expensive bracket that does not include the strap to hold down the generator. Necessary when swapping an intake and moving the generator.

Fits original generators only

Beware, this offset mount does not accept Powergen units. The diameter of the Powqergen housing is larger than the original generators, therefore when the Powergen is placed in the cradle, it only contacts at a narrow point each side. Fitting the strap and tightening would damage the Powergen body in my opinion.

I was wondering if this bracket will work with the Powermaster Generator/Alternators for the 49-53 flatheads? I saw a kit with the offset bracket and a thermostat housing that said it didn't, was wondering if this one was different.
