Speedway Motors 91032311-24 Details
We now have an affordable steel version of our famous hot rod steering column.
- The 1-3/4" black painted column still has a quick release steel hub that accepts the common 3-bolt Grant steering wheel pattern
- Uses common 3/4" DD u-joints.
- 15 gauge mild steel.
Note: Length provided is measured from the end of the 3/4" DD shaft to the face of the steering wheel quick release hub and is therefore an overall end to end length measurement.
If you are considering an aftermarket 5-bolt steering wheel for your application, now available steering wheel adapter # 545-35078 or # 410-4004

So much better than a straight rod! Quiet when turning and the removeable steering wheel pin is nice. Good Value for the money..

Not thrilled!
Bought this column with a pitman arm and a bracket for bottom of column. When it arrived the bag had a hole in the bottom like some one had slid it out of the bag already. When I looked at the end it looked as though some one had cut it with a sawzall or something and ground on it. I called speedway and sent it back for another one. They sent a return label right away. Just received the new one or I think the same one I sent back. This one looks the same on the end and has a bad spot on the finish of the hub. In the picture for item it looks like a clean machined end for u-joint. Feels like a few small little nicks in tube. Hard to see but not to feel. Sure hope it fits the u-joint. Haven't ordered that yet and by the time I do it'll probably be to late to send back without a fee or something if it doesn't fit right. Not sure if they cut the ends by hand or not but this one doesn't look professional!

great column, this is well built and very smooth. for those who don't like the slight looseness in the steering wheel just install a thin washer between the hub and column and the wheel will be snug..

THIS IS A GOOD QUALITY PRODUCT. WORKS AS SHOULD AN IS SMOOTH, "D" COULPLER FIT TIGHT ON THE SHAFT WHICH IS NICE. I WISH SPEEDWAY WOULD WORK ON A BETTER LOCK PIN FOR THE STEERING WHEEL HUB. OVERALL GREAT VALUE AND YOU CAN ORDER AN EXTRA LOCK PIN OR TWO.
