I had a noise problem with my speedo, the signal was coming through a transmission control computer and the speedo needle was following the tack. Chased the problem and decided to go with the GPS sender and not use the TCU output. Works great!

Used with New Vintage gages in my 1952 Chevy pickup. It works fine after it connects, but I may drive 4 or 5 miles without a speedometer before it connects. Have tried moving it around, but have got no improvement.

I replaced a competitor's gps sensor with this one. This one is less expensive, is smaller, and has a better mounting system. While to included info says it will be faster to sync with gps satellites after the initial sync, it is still often slow taking 5 min or more. I am going to wire it straight to un-switched 12v. I will monitor to see if the battery drain is too much.

I would buy this product again.
