Most vacuum operated brake boosters require 18" of vacuum to operate correctly. This vacuum canister from Mr. Gasket offers an additional reserve of vacuum for vehicles equipped with vacuum-assisted power brakes. The vacuum reservoir can only hold up to the maximum vacuum available from the engine; it does not create any additional vacuum by itself.

Roller engine and brakes just didn't seem that strong. Added this can and now WOW! Great stopping power, even locks up if press hard enough. Before canister brakes would never lock up regardless. 1970 c-10 with speedway motors hydraulic power brake booster and disc conversion
