Morris Classic Concepts MCSBR-6-BK Details
Each rear set comes with driver and passenger side seat belts, two stainless steel brackets, two female ends with your choice of buckle style, Grade 8 bolts, and all other necessary installation hardware and instructions.
Each pair of rear 3-point seat belts will bolt into the existing holes of your 1968-72 Chevelle's structure - in the quarter panel/trunk area and under the rear shelf panel. The rear brackets will go around the speakers under the shelf without interference. The belts are sewn according to the vehicle manufacturer's pattern to increase their strength.
Morris Classic Concepts seat belts are pull-tested to 3,000 pounds of force weekly to ensure their quality and compliance with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). However, the seat belts exceed this 3,000 pound standard by more than 20%.

The Morris Classic Concepts rear seat belt kit is praised for its top-notch quality, as the webbing and hardware give an OEM-plus appearance that fits perfectly with car interiors. Despite needing to drill during installation, customers found the process manageable with the included instructions. The kit, with its modern-style 3-point system, significantly upgrades safety, especially for accommodating child car seats, in classic cars like Monte Carlo and Chevelle, making it a recommendable investment. Some users suggested clearer instructions could improve the installation process.

I needed to upgrade the rear seat belts in my 1970 Monte Carlo—what was in there before was a mismatched, worn-out set and only included the lap belt that could not accommodate a child car seat. Since I wanted something safer and also needed belts that could securely accommodate a child car seat, I went with the rear seat belt kit from Morris Classic Concepts—and I'm really glad I did. The kit is high quality across the board. The webbing and hardware are top-notch, and once installed, the belts give a clean, OEM-plus appearance that fits perfectly with the car's interior. The retractors work smoothly, and the buckles feel solid and secure. Installation did require drilling into the rear seat shelf and trunk area, which is worth noting if you're expecting a purely bolt-in job. That said, the process was still pretty straightforward, and the included hardware and instructions made it manageable. The final result is a secure, modern-style 3-point system that feels like a major safety upgrade—especially important for properly securing a child car seat in a classic car. If you're restoring or updating the rear seats in a Chevelle or Monte Carlo, this kit is a solid investment in both safety and usability.

Nice kit. Instructions could use a little more clarity. Would have been nice to know the ideal direction/angle of belt loops and reel. Overall does the job and clean solution to adding some safety for rear passengers.
