Overall Assessment

Overall, customers highly praise the 1955 Chevy pedal cars for their undeniable quality and sturdiness. The cars were deemed a hit with children, adding to their appeal as practical and exciting gifts. One customer even mentioned these were likely to become family keepsakes. Despite few concerns about parts like the steering wheel, the product's durability was highlighted as an advantage over battery-operated alternatives. The cute, vintage design seems loved but was noted as not a precise representation of a Model A. While the Model A pedal car received mixed impressions, the 1955 Chevy model was unanimously recommended for its superior quality, making it a popular choice over competitors.

Will be a present for my grandson. For the most part the car is pretty well made with some minor issues. The vinyl stripes were coming loose in some areas so I worked my magic and managed to get them to stick securely. Will make some adjustments to the steering linkage to get the front wheels aligned properly. The left rear axle cap was coming off, which turned out to be a good thing as the wheel nut was not tightened properly. The paint was a little dull or flat looking but after a little waxing and buffing a nice shine is coming up. There was also some missing hardware pieces but that was an easy fix. I also got the nostalgic race car at the same time which was a little better, some loose screws and bolts, same dull finish. I removed the stripes on this and redid them. Also added some stripes to the louvers to hilight them them. This came with headlights which I removed and will be adding to the roadster as brake lights after I rework them to have red lenses. Even with some minor issues to both products I am happy with the cars and waiting to see my grandsons reactions.

I bought two 1955 Chevy pedal cars for grandkids for Xmas . I was very pleased with quality and I am excited to see them enjoy them . The model A car I hate to say was not quite the quality as the other 2 pedal cars . It was advertised as having a real wood steering wheel . ( not the case ) decades where wall peeling off spin arrival . Ended up just removing them for when I tried to place them back on they wouldn't stick . Back bumper wheel was completely scratched up . I must say I was pleased with customer service how they handled my concern about the wheel . They are mailing me a new one thank you . Model a peddle car is adorable looking but not worth the price due to quality . Stick with the 1955 Chevy for the kiddos .

As a pedal car, this roadster is very cute but does not look much like a model A. It is a good representation of a vintage car. I collect the full size versions of pre- 1930 antique cars including a genuine Model A roadster.. My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves my real cars and this one fits well for him and he seems to love it. Unfortunately this car was made in China where it was made for a collector of pedal cars and was not made to be used by a toddler. I had to redsign the steering by cutting and welding so it could be functional as a toy. After about 4 hours of redesign and fabrication on alignment and steering, it now steers as it should. Paint and other quality is very good and after my rework, I am satisfied with this product..

This car is well made, sturdy, looks great too. I was surprised at how little assembly it required. This is sure to be one of my Grand daughter's Favorite toys, and memories. We look forward to it being in the family for a long time, handed down through the generations.
