Not only were the Big Three churning out all manner of cool rides, but there were tuners (before the term tuner existed) that took these factory hot rods and made them even better. Names like Yenko, Baldwin-Motion, Shelby, Mr. Norm’s Grand Spaulding Dodge, Tasca Ford, and others. These forward-thinking builders not only added more power and better handling, but gave the exteriors unique stripes, scoops, wheels, and more to let everyone know you were driving a Shelby Mustang, a Yenko Camaro, or a GSS Dart. Today, many enthusiasts pay tribute to these rare and special cars with custom builds that replicate many of these custom touches from the ’60s. Our Shelby GT350 hood scoop is one option, albeit in a slightly smaller size, to help you build that dream replica.

Crafted from high quality carbon fiber woven mat, our mini–Shelby GT350 scoop is finished in a high gloss finish that can be left exposed or can easily be painted once bonded to your car’s surface. We recommend the use of panel bonding adhesive or other typical bonding methods used for fiberglass and composite materials. The Shelby hood scoop is sized at 15 inches long, 13 inches wide, and three inches high. The inside opening measures 11 inches wide at the front and 8 inches wide at the rear. There are no mounting holes or studs affixed, thus the requirement for bonding. The scoop can easily be made functional by opening the panel it is mounted on using the scoop as a template for the opening.
