These universal transverse rear leaf springs are perfect for those wanting to build a tradional looking T-bucket or early Ford style hotrod. Each cross spring is made from high grade tempered spring steel and is 2" wide, 38" from eye-to-eye and has 5 leafs (each 0.25" thick). Each leaf also features rounded ends for a smooth, finished look and comfortable ride on lightweight hot rods.
With the help of reversed spring eyes, this spring measures 10" high to the inside of the arch, which makes it ideal for low-slung hot rods. Spring eyes are 3/4" I.D.

I would definitely use this spring on another project
The medium arch transverse reverse eye rear spring is an ideal size and shape for a medium height ride compared to the high arch spring. If you want to go with the Model A rear spring type look, This is the spring I would recommend. Has a really nice appearance and a better ride. I am building a custom roadster and this medium arch reverse spring is giving me a really nice stance

Doesn't fit early fords as specified
Large caution to people buying this, the tech support person in q and a section says it can be spread to fit an early ford aswell as the "check fitment" option. It doesn't fit a model t or model a, let alone any banjo style rear ends as it says it will. much too narrow, shipping will kill the cost to ship it back so I might aswell throw 350$ away. Luckily for me I'm building a early ford coupe with a later open drive (47 half ton ford) banjo rear end so I can put the perches where ever and use it. So for traditional hot rods this is useless.

I used this rear spring on a 9" going in a 31 ford. This spring mounts much narrower than an original A or T spring, the bell curve is similar to the T spring enough that if you need to stiffen the spring you can use T spring leafs to stiffen it. The appearance is about the same as every leaf spring. The only thing that was annoying was it doesn't come with shackle bushings. But they're a normal 3/4 od eyelet.

I bought this spring for a 23T project. Took the spring pack apart to stretch it to the recommended 45" c-c perches, and with just the main leaf the spring is nearly flat with the the shackles Flat as well. As this will be a very light car will this perch width even work once all the springs are in?

I am building a 29 ford coupe hot rod. The finished road clearance will be 6". I would like to use this spring to save space in the trunk area. I know it is 1/4" narrower than the standard spring but otherwise will it fit the 29 cross member? From reading other answers it appears that you recommend the spring mounting brackets be 45" apart. Is that correct ?
