Replacement pickup module for all Mallory Unilite distributors and conversion kits. Requires a 1.4 ohms Ballast resistor, loom resistor or internally resisted coil.

Ballast Resistor
Stabilize coil current and prolong point life with this ballast resistor. Computer-wound to ensure resistance value. Premium ceramic bodies provide maximum durability and superior heat transfer. Recommended when a new coil is installed. Using a heavy duty porcelain resistor and threaded terminal connectors, this resistor is rated at 200 watts and 0.75 (cold) – 1.5 (hot) ohms.

The 605 modules have a not so glorious reputation of failure. The important thing is to make sure you have a CORRECT Ballast Resistor of 1.4 ohms. The resistor in this kit is correct. .75 - 1.5
