Super Bell Axle Co 1100A Details
These precision made 4" drop axles accept 1937-48 Ford spindles and have 2-1/4" axle bosses. Tube axles are constructed using 1018 forged steel ends welded to 2" x .250" wall, 1018 seamless tubing and are set up with 1-1/4 degrees positive camber.
- Tube axle ends are forged 1018 steel (not cast)
- Tubes are precision welded to the forged ends with deep penetration
- Jig welded to extremely accurate dimensions
- These beautiful axles are virtually indestructible

Will this axle accept 28-31 model a spindles?

I want to use my stock Model A spring pack (except I added a reverse eye main spring). On the 2 axles i have the perch mount holes are at 36"on center -- specs on 48" axle 36 3/8". Close enough?
