Details

Linear actuators are gear-driven drive motors that extend a shaft with 110 lbs. of force. Our 12V actuators are a universal design for custom installation and operation in countless applications. With built-in limit switches, ACME dive system, and a IP 63 dust and water resistant rating, they are ideal for automotive applications (trunk, hood, doors, etc.) as well as electric wing sliders for Mini Sprints. 

Available in 4", 6" or 8" strokes.

Bolted right on place of the existing. Im not sure what brand the original was, but this one lifted quicker and smoother. Fiberglass deck lid with full interior probably weighs 70lbs

The picture doesn't show the wiring very well, but this unit will just take the 2 wires from your switch. Don't get concerned about the other 3 wire wiring harness attached unless your are using the controller box.The PDF on the part pages shows the correct wiring without the extra harness. It's nice to have 3 different lengths to order, but why would you order a shorter throw? And yes, it's also cheaper than other suppliers.

This unit is used for our wing slider on our XXX minisprint. Have had no issues with it in over 3 seasons of hard racing. Only complaint, if you want to call it that, is that I wish it had a little longer cable. We have to splice in a few extra inches of cord to make it reach where we need it to go. I hate making splices in any electrical system on a race car. Splices typically mean problems somewhere down the road. Fortunately, we have had no issues what so ever though.
