Improve the Handling and Appearance of Your C10 Pickup

GM gifted the world a fleet of beautiful trucks as it cranked out the ’67-’72 “Action Line” trucks as well as the '73-’87 “Squarebody” that replaced them. While the General hit the styling out of the park on both generations, functionally they were designed to do “truck things.” You know, stuff like hauling plywood from the lumberyard, pulling the fishing boat to the lake, or toting the occasional engine block from the machine shop back to the hot rod project waiting in the home garage. Well, these days ’67-’87 GM C10 trucks are often themselves the hot rod project, and our priorities have shifted accordingly.

The GM engineers that gave us such beautiful trucks likely didn’t predict a future where these trucks would be slammed on the ground and pushed hard around corners on wide tires. The Speedway Motors LevelSet™ line of suspension components picks up where they left off and are designed and fabricated in Lincoln, Nebraska to get your truck down in the weeds while also improving the handling.

A Sway Bar to Complement LevelSet™ Suspension Components

Once you’ve outfitted your truck with trick LevelSet™ Tubular Control Arms, the next step to maximize the handling of your C10 is the LevelSet™ Splined Sway Bar. This 1.25” diameter, .188”-wall splined bar was designed to reduce body roll when that old truck is pushed hard around the curves on track or just dodging modern traffic out on the road. In addition to the functional improvement to your trucks handling, the billet aluminum arms and pillow blocks combine with the big splined bar and satin black powdercoated finish to add a trick look to the front suspension. Delrin bushings at the pivot points provide long-lasting performance and will not rot and push out like stock rubber bushings. As a bonus, this sway bar is designed to fit both ’67-’72 and ’73-87 Chevy and GMC half-ton trucks.

I bought this sway bar kit, arms would not line up, waited for an hour to speak to someone then they wanted me to send this kit back before they sent me a replacement, Once I get the return label scanned by shipping company, they could send out a replacement like summit does. The scan shows proof that I sent it back…. Oh no… this place said we can't do that
