Details
Serious race teams count on Landrum coilover springs. Every gold Landrum spring is engraved with its exact rate and serial number. Each one ships with its own dyno sheet showing dynamic rate in both graph and numeric form, so you know what you're getting. Consistent, reliable performance at a price that fits your budget. Pick the rate that fits your setup.
What Makes Landrum Coilover Springs Different?
Landrum Coilover Springs are engineered for circle track, drag racing, off-road, street performance, and hot rod applications. Manufactured from high-tensile chrome silicon steel, individually dyno tested, and held to within ±2% of specification, they deliver accurate spring rates, consistent handling, predictable chassis response, and long service life.
What are High Travel Coilover Springs?
High travel springs are designed to compress and extend further than standard springs. This extra travel allows for better vehicle handling and increased stability over rough terrain or during extreme driving conditions. Landrum springs are designed to provide consistent performance throughout their range of travel.
How Does the Material Used for Landrum Coilover Springs Affect Performance and Longevity?
Landrum springs are manufactured with the highest-quality Chrome Silicon steel wire, which is known for its excellent fatigue resistance and high strength. This material offers better consistency over time, meaning the spring will continue to perform as designed, even after repeated compression and extension. Using Chrome Silicon steel wire ensures Landrum springs have a long service life.
What Keeps Landrum Coilover Springs from Taking a Set?
Designed using the latest coil spring design software and state-of-the-art spring engineering methods. Every spring is preset to solid height during manufacturing, allowing it to be compressed to solid without taking a set and providing consistent high performance throughout its range of travel. Manufacturing to incredibly precise manufacturing tolerances, and using an intensive heat and press process, we ensure all our springs perform exactly as they were originally engineered.
How Do We Prove the Performance of Our Springs?
Each Landrum spring is individually tested for quality and consistent performance. Every spring we manufacture must be within 2% of specification or it is scrapped. We prove it with a dyno sheet provided with each spring showing its performance as it is compressed. No other racing spring manufacturer does this.
