The LS Black engine oil dipstick received positive feedback from customers. Many lauded the product's perfect fit and effective functionality, especially for 56 Chevy LS swaps. Despite occasional difficulties passing it by headers, the oil dipstick was praised for its practical usability and quality. Its black finish was touted as very aesthetically pleasing. The product's greatness and excellent price point were repeatedly highlighted. Some customers had to slightly modify the dipstick for use with aftermarket headers, but noted that the part worked well for replacing stock pieces.

Great alternative to Holley's more expensive option
The dipstick that came with the Holley oil pan was yellow and broke on installation. We worked with Speedway to get a replacement. We upgraded to chrome and it fits better than the Holley for about half the price. Looks better too.

I would buy it again if needed
I bought 2, 1 a few weeks earlier I broke trying to install. Returning wasn't worth the shipping and hassle, so I had ordered another and compared to the first one I bought it wasn't shaped the same even though it was the some product so I had to bent it with out kinking the tube. I got it in and sees how this one does.

I attempted to install this dipstick and the end of the tube broke off and fell into the oil pan. Very poor workmanship! This is not indicative of Speedway products.

Fit perfect on 5.3 with low oil pan and speed engineering headers. I didn't have to tweak it at all to fit around the headers. Looks cooler than stock is a plus

Do not waste your time buying an Amazon dipstick or youll regret it like I did. The Amazon part broke off inside my oil pan. Had to drop the oil pan to get the broken piece out. Major headache and a major set back. This one is only 15 bucks more and is steel. Sturdy and fits like stock but looks cool and custom. Take my word for it. That steel braided aluminum junk is not worth the headache.
