LS Fabrication 6772TGS-STK Tailgate Saver, 67-72 Chevy/GMC C10

This "Gate Saver" or Tailgate Assist Shock/Strut 1967-1972 GMC Chevy Truck adds a little bit of modern luxury to your classic C10 truck. The Gate saver works on your factory tailgate by removing one of the link bars. Also, it can work in addition to the 67-72 Tailgate Latch Kit. Works to slow the tailgate opening action allowing your tailgate to open freely after unlatching. You can now have a tailgate that opens, closes and latches like a brand new Chevy pickup.

• Fits 1967 - 1972 Chevy / GMC C10 Style Trucks
• Minor Trimming of the tailgate and an M8 tap are required for install.
• For stock latches, an additional support bracket is also included.
• Kit Inludes: Dampener, (2) balls studs, and jam nut for an easy install

Removing your factory link arm will lessen the ability of your tailgate to handle a lot of weight. This product is not intended for customers requiring their tailgate to handle weight.
