Kirkey 38200 Details
Kirkey Racing Aluminum Layback Seat is designed for street stocks, IMCA modifieds, limited late models, mini modifieds, dwarf cars, legends or any entry level division. Available in six (6) sizes, 14", 15",16",17",18-1/2" and 20" Big Boy. Unique bottom design allows seat to be mounted in multiple layback angles without raising center of gravity in the race car. Seat comes with bolt on rib braces and a welded interior head rest plate for additional strength.
Constructed from TIG and MIG welded .100" thick 5052 grade aluminum. Extra MIG welding on the inside for added strength. Offset aluminum extrusion around perimeter of seat for added strength and safety. Front of seat raised for leg and thigh support. Seat comes standard with lap belt openings, double shoulder belt openings and sub belt opening to accommodate all belt systems. Molded rubber inserts for all seat belt openings. Vinyl seat cover 910-382000 and Tweed seat cover 910-382011 sold separately.

This seat is really big. I'm about 6ft-250lbs and I can put my fists beside my hips. A much larger driver will easily fit in this seat. If I were gonna be racing a faster class I would have gotten a smaller seat. Regarding build quality, it's really good. The welds are nice, there's no sharp edges, and overall it just gives you the feeling of a well made and safe piece of equipment.
