I used this in a modified Jeep CJ3A whose original fuel tank was long gone. I removed the fuel system that a previous owner had cobbled together and replaced it with this. Installation was easy , the straps fit well enough that the bolt holes lined up.

I bought this fuel cell and mounting straps together thinking that it could save me some time from having to make my own straps. I received the parts and the fuel cell itself seems nice for what it is, however, the mounting strap kit is very loose fitting. I called to see if by chance I received an incorrect strap kit, or if they really do fit this poorly. I was told that it is a universal strap kit and typically they are loose fitting. I don't understand how you can have a universal strap kit when it needs to be a specific size to properly hold the tank in place, especially for being advertised as a circle track tank. Also, all other Jaz fuel cells of its kind are drastically different in size. I was also told that by putting fuel in the tank would solve the issue. Again, this does not make since as the tank does not inflate once filled up, nor will it suddenly defy gravity and physics. Giving this 1 star for the straps and cell being sold together and the lack of care by customer service.

the details state the two ports are for in let and out let but does not mention the fuel cap be a vented or venting cap. i as well as many need feed and return fuel ports as well as a way to vent the tanks. how is the tank vented while using the two ports for supply and return?
