JHRS 307-002 Kinmont Safety Stop Brakes 5X4.5, Ford, Polish

The look of the original Kinmont Safe Stop brakes is prized by hot rodder's everywhere. What's often forgotten is that they are terrible at stopping a car.

• Designed around the venerable '37-'48 Ford round back spindle and uses a 10.5" vented rotor with a Wilwood four-piston caliper and brake pads set at a 10 o'clock position to aid in ease of bleeding the brakes.
• The drum cover and backing plate take styling cues from the original Kinmonts with scoops in the drums, arched fins lining the perimeter of the backing plate.
• Dummy wheel cylinders with brass nuts and wave washers mimicking the adjustment points of the originals.
• The drum cover and backing plate are precision sand cast available in natural cast or show polished finish.
• The Kinmont Safety Stop brakes accepts a 15" wheel with no spacer
• For 1937-48 Ford spindles, fits 5 bolt on 4.50 in. bolt circles
