Ididit 1170730010 Retrofit 1967-72 Ford Half-Ton Steering Column

The Ididit 1170730010 retrofit steering column is built to bolt into 1967–72 Ford half-ton trucks without modifying the original vehicle. It’s a GM-style column that uses a GM top shaft and a GM 3-7/8" wiring plug, making it a clean upgrade path when you want modern column features and easier aftermarket compatibility. It includes pre-welded underdash mounts designed specifically for the 1967–72 Ford truck application.

This column features an 8-position tilt and a floor-shift configuration, finished in black. The lower shaft is 3/4" x 36 spline, and it’s intended to be installed using Borgeson joints. With the proper adapter, you can run an aftermarket steering wheel while keeping the wheel position similar to stock—note that a stock Ford steering wheel will not bolt to this GM-style column. It includes common street-friendly functions like self-canceling turn signals, 4-way flashers, horn, and knobs/levers, and it works with manual or automatic transmissions.
