Holley's Red Electric fuel pump is a standard pressure street pump for gas only. It has a pressure preset of 7 psi and a free flow capacity of 97 gph. It flows 67 gph while maintaining 5 psi. No regulator required. Has a 3/8" NPT inlet and outlet.

A Satisfied Customer
Had a blue Holley fuel pump. Car has been built since the late 90's. After 36,000 mile the pump motor wore out. Car is a Street Rod with a ZZ3 crate engine and is carbureted. Blue pump had a regulator. The red one is advertised as not needing one. I am an engineer and was cautious about not needing a regulator, as the pressure and flow are at a healthy rate from the red pump. I called Speedways Tech line and the person assured me I would not need a regulator. Best thing was he was RIGHT!! I learned that Speedway's tech line has experienced and very knowledgeable personnel. Yes the pump is a little noisy, but not so that you hear it going down the road. Plus the noise lets other know that your car is not just your Grandfathers old car! I would and will trust the guidance from Speedway again!!

Poor quality
I've used Holley fuel pumps for over 35 years, this one left me on the side of the road after pumping less than 40 gallons of gasoline. Just quit, electrically open, no notice, no strange sound, just quit...who gets the tow bill? Quit in nowhere Wyoming in the cold. Trying to decide which pump might be of better quality, everything we get comes from china..

Its a great pump just wasted a lot of time trying other things before I realized had pump hooked up backward. I understand that people mount differently that's why it should say IN and OUT on pump instead they put Holley..

Will this pump work to pump diesel fuel? If not, explain please. Thanks This RV has a 3208 CAT diesel. Fuel tank is 32' in the rear and now just uses the transfer pump in the injection pump to pull fuel from that distance. A Holley Red would make bleeding the filters easy and assist if I ever run out of fuel in the 150 gallon tank. Several of the members of the Wanderlodge Owner's Group have used this pump for that purpose, but was curious what the spec on type of fuel is according to Holley before I purchase it. Thanks in advance.
