Takes the place of the piece of 2x4 I had affixed to the 1" metal riser. A fellow racer pointed out that I had ~1/3 the required throttle travel - so I stopped spinning the car so easily. After making that adjustment, then I realized I wasn't getting all the way out of throttle. So, added the 2x4 & much to my crew's chagrin, it remained in place through the end of the season. This part looks PRO-fessional.

Lightweight but sturdy. Has a flange around the outside of the base that is easily drilled for installation of fasteners. I was easily able to cut openings so it fit over a diagonal brace and still fastened to the belly pan of the midget. Time will tell how it stands up to oil, fuel, and racing stress.
