    Overall Assessment

Customers report that the product's bearings are of high quality, however there is a recurring issue with sizing compatibility, especially with Halibrand covers. They suggest verifying the dimensions before purchase to ensure fit. Some have found success with alternative solutions from local bearing shops. Despite the sizing issue, no faults in the product's materials or performance were mentioned.

I'm sure the bearings are of good quality, but they are not usable. The sizing is just wrong by a long shot in my V8 quick change. I have a '6 pin' cover plate that these were to fit. Either I don't know what I have, or they are the wrong ones. Went to a local bearing shop, they measured what I had and handed me new bearings which are working fine. I suggest you check the dimensions while/before ordering. I add that the castings on my 'V8' say Halibrand.

Careful, they will not fit all Halibrand covers.......

Quality okay BUT.....There are two sizes used in Halibrand covers. Mine was an early Culver City cover which takes the 1.8" bearing. These you sell are for the later covers which take a 2"+ size bearing. I returned mine.
