Hagan Street Rods 90 RC Details
Now you can make that old gas tank filler neck and cap go away with this easy flush mount gas door kit. Just select the style that would best fit to the surface and choose the design of the gas door with the hinge mount on the left or right side. This has a fuel spout that is 2" OD to accept a 2" ID fuel hose of your choice. Fuel hose not included. Can be mounted in steel or fiberglass.

- Door is 3-1/2" round
- It's most common use is in the rear fender of cars and truck from around 1936 to the early 1950's
- The top is made of 18 gage mild steel

- Latch is spring loaded and magnetic

Having a commercially available pre-fabricated option for adding an alternative fuel fill to a classic vehicle is a welcome product. There are several different fill neck and door configurations available to choose from depending on your particular car body design and body contour. Installation is straight forward. The one option that did not lend itself to my particular installation was the supplied integral straight tube and collar assembly. I ended up removing the straight tube and adding a 45 degree tube to the collar - having this option from Hagan would have been a plus.

Found the Hagan door on Speedway website. The site also had a template to measure the curve on the body to match the gas door. This template was super easy to print off and use, and the actual piece fit perfectly to the template measurement. Very good quality piece. I had bought a less expensive piece from a competitor, and it is not even close to this fine quality piece... Regret the purchase from the competitor... Love the purchase from Speedway!!! Thank You!!
