I use the glass bead media and others from Speedway in my homebuilt basting cabinet The glass media gives a great surface for painting. I have gotten wonderful results on brackets, exhaust parts, aluminum manifolds and autobody parts

Have a small DIY blast gun. Made a blast cabinet from cardboard box. Worked quite well to clean 2 parts. Though box saved a lot, it gets used up quick.
