Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the product's high quality, usability, and complete feature set. They commend its easy installation process and perfect performance, not only as a temporary solution but also as a reliable backup. The product's length and included fitting tools contribute to its practicality. Users have repeatedly commended the product's quality and recommend it over competing brands. Nevertheless, a few customers have raised concerns about the tubing's propensity to kink and its somewhat brittle nature, suggesting an upgrade to copper tubing for improved performance and safety. Despite this, the product's affordability and flexibility continue to be praised by many users.

Perfect

I currently have this item set up on an engine test stand. It works perfectly! As soon as I get the engine running properly I have no doubt it will work in the truck.

tubing kinks easily and was missing some

If the tubing, which comes coiled, gets pulled just a little when pulling through the firewall, it loops and puts a kink in the line which prevents pressure flow. The line has two ends (surprise?) requiring two brass tube end reinforcements to prevent the line from being crushed by the nut and ferule. Only one reinforcement was provided. My suggestion is to use 1/8" copper tube to run the pressure line from the motor to the gage.

Needed this to piece together my oil pressure gauge that was already in the car but not hooked up when i bought it. I used rubber hose to run the tubing through to protect it from rubbing the firewall while racing. Worked great so far

Questions & Answers

1 Question2 Answers

Couple questions: 1) Does this work with a SBF 2) Do you recommend teflon tape on the fittings to prevent leaking? If not what do you recommend? 3) Are there instructions or a video on installation? My car has the nylon tube but I want to make sure I install the fittings properly to avoid a leak.
