Customers acclaimed this product for its quality and functionality, especially its capability to effectively clean and seal gas tanks—eliminating issues such as rust. Despite some wishing for an included acid etch solution, its performance is highly satisfactory and considered worth the price. Compared to the cost of new gas tanks, users found this to be a superior and affordable solution. The product's overall easy-to-use nature and effectiveness in sealing tanks sets it apart from others in the market.

I have a Shay roadster. It's a 1929 Model A replica. Notorious for gas tank issues. A new one was beyond my means. Pulled the tank. Filled with vinegar. By the time I got the kit from Speedway (48 hours) I dumped the vinegar and washed out with clean water. Following day, used the supplied cleaner according to directions, let dry perfectly, used the prep, let dry perfectly, used the sealer according to directions. After I let it dry according to directions, the tank was completely sealed inside. The blue sealer was visible over the entire inside of the tank. Cleaned and painted the outside....perfect tank. Took one kit for my ten gallon tank. Rust in a fuel tank? You have got to try this stuff.
