I looked at several others and even bought a Lares 201, which I returned. This one from Speedway is a perfect replacement for my 50 year old OE rag joint. Compared to some with only 12-15 splines (!), it has splines around the entire perimeter, except on the flat. And it uses fiber-reinforced rubber like OE, not just rubber. It comes with a socket head clamp bolt, but I ended up using the OE shoulder bolt with a 12-point flanged head. (Speedway, that would be a nice addition.)

Will this rag joint fit a 1968 c10? I can't find any locally to make sure it fits my steering gear. Recently purchased 68 c10. It has a TBi 350 and 700r4. From what I can tell almost everything on this truck is from a later model truck. The steering gear it currently has is not the same as the new one I have for it. The input of the old one is 3/4 by 30 and i the new one is larger. measures to 13/16 by 36. Pitman shafts are the same. I just need a rag joint to fit this gear so I can replace my leaking gearbox. Thank you for any help
