Powerful alternator

So we purchased this alternator because we have an ice cream truck and would like to charge the lithium iron phosphate battery that we have hooked up to two freezers in the back. We have a lot going on with power on the truck. We also have electric fans that cool the 1974 vintage ice cream truck engine. When the electric fans were turning on the old alternator was squealing and having problems. We were just pushing it too much. We did more configurations and realized we needed a larger alternator and selected this one. It has worked great so far no problems at all two fans running for the engine and charging a battery in the back while driving it's all good. Everybody's so happy. Icecream is cold for a lot longer ! Which means I can stay out longer and sell more!

100 miles from home and it's not charging

I was excited, except for enlarging the mounting hole on the lower mount, it was an easy install. It was charging at 14v and everything was happy. Now I'm 100 miles from home on my first outing with the car since I installed the alternator and it's not charging at all. It worked great on the 15 mile test drive and at least part of the roadtrip. So I'm stranded. This alternator is going to end up costing me a ton of money.

I Didn't even drive car 50 miles before alternator went out. I dont have any crazy electronics hooked up or major stereo system. Took to get tested and inspected and the voltage regulator went out.
