I reccently bought a manual steering box for my 93 s10 what was power steering. i changed boxes then pulled the pitman arm off the power steering box and noticed the hole for the pitman arm was to big for new box. so my question is is it for the smaller diameter boxes?

Wondering if I can use this on my street rod with a Saginaw 525 box? Does the bend in the arm go up toward the box or down towards the ground? I need one to go up so I can have a little more ground clearance at the tie rod end. Which way does the taper in the small end go? Larger hole on top or bottom? I am using ford tie rods ends with 7 degree taper with the nut on the under side of the pitman arm. Are Ford ends the same taper as chevy ones? Thanks Bill

what size is the hole where it mounts to the gear box I have a 63 impala with a 605 gear box every pitman arm I get seems to be smaller, far as shaft size im looking for one with a larger hole, the problem is my car is in California and im in ohio so I have no way of measuring it at the moment but I know its a 605 box
