Works and looks great!
I purchased this alternator in black to as an upgrade after a complete rewire in 2021. Since the install I've driven the car several thousand miles and the alternator has been completely reliable, quietly working in the background just like it should. The black finish on the alternator is smooth and appears to be durable. I planned on removing the coating from the mounting surfaces, but those had been masked off during the paint / powder coat process. I realize this is a small detail, but that detail could leave someone stranded if not taken care of. Great job on making sure those surfaces had bare metal to contact for the ground to carry through. Soon I'll purchase another for a project I'm currently working on once I get to the point where I need it. Thanks Speedway for another great product.
