TYPE II Power Steering Hose & Valve Kit, AN6, Black Hose/Fittings

We've put together this kit for the Type II Power Steering Pump, to help you quickly get your system plumbed and on the way. Featuring Fragola PTFE lined hose for the pressure side, Fragola braided rubber hose for the return and all the AN6 fitting to connect it all together. This kit also includes a Heidts adjustable steering flow valve and fitting to plumb it in.

The properties of PTFE make it a natural for all highly corrosive applications like automotive brake fluid.  PTFE also works well for hot oil and power steering fluid.  These hoses will take high pressure and cycle over and over without failure.

Stainless braided hose can be abrasive to anything it comes in contact with.  For that reason, Fragola Performance Systems offers it's hose with optional plastic covers. The hose will not scratch aluminum panels or remove paintand the black coating matches our most popular black anodized hose ends and adapters.

The properties of P.T.F.E. make it a natural for all highly corrosive applications like automotive brake fluid. P.T.F.E. also works well for hot oil and power steering fluid. The hose will take high pressure and cycle over and over without failure. This hose also handles nitrous oxide with ease.

P.T.F.E. powder is extruded into a smooth bore tube product.  The tube is then fed into a machine that weaves stainless wire into the familiar braided pattern.  The hose is inspected 100% and any flawed sections are discarded.

Fragola Premium Black Nylon Braided Rubber Hose, -6 AN, 3 FT

This lightweight motorsports-inspired hose has a rubber core and a flexible nylon cover. It's resistant to oil, fuels and coolants. Features a 500 PSI working pressure and an operating range of -40 F to +300 F. Designed to be used with both crimp style and full flow fittings.

Fragola Real-Street PTFE Hose End Fittings, -6 AN

Fragola’s new line of Real Street black anodized aluminum, reusable, hose ends for Series 6000 P.T.F.E. hose. Together they eliminate fuel permeation issues common with aftermarket racing hose. A unique “double-swivel” design allows for clocking adjustment after installation. These reusable hose ends feature a miniature “olive” that retains the hose inside of the fitting. By replacing this “olive” the hose end may be reused over and over.

Heidts PS-101 Adjustable Power Steering Flow Valve

If you have power steering on your car and it has too much assist or a 'twitchy' feel to it you may have too much pressure to the rack or box. 

This nifty valve allows you to adjust the pressure and get the road feel you want. It has a 1/4" npt inlet and outlet for the pressure line, and a 3/8" npt inlet and outlet for the return line. 

Both pressure and return line need to be plumbed into this valve.
