G-Comp 2 Inch Drop Spindle to Stock Disc Brake Hardware Kit
Details
Info
Due to the slight differences from the stock spindle, a special set of hardware is required when using a stock disc brake kit on G-Comp's 2" Drop Spindle for GM A/F/X Body Muscle Cars. Stock spindles use shared holes in the for the lower caliper and steering arm bolts. With a dropped spindle the rotor is moved up compared to the rest of the knuckle, meaning the caliper has to move up with it. If the steering arm was also moved it would mean big trouble for your car's steering geometry, thus, the 2" Drop Spindle has (4) bolt holes instead of the stock (2).
This hardware kit provides the bolts that you will need to attach a stock disc brake kit and steering arm with ease!
Kit Contains:
- (8) Mounting Bolts
- (4) Lock Washers
*Note: G-Comp Drop Spindles are threaded to accept steering arm bolts, and the nuts that are included with stock disc brake kits will work with these correct-length bolts to attach the caliper.
