Stainless braided hose can be abrasive to anything it comes in contact with. For that reason, Fragola Performance Systems offers it's hose with optional plastic covers. The hose will not scratch aluminum panels or remove paint and the black coating matches our most popular black anodized hose ends and adapters.
The properties of P.T.F.E. make it a natural for all highly corrosive applications like automotive brake fluid. P.T.F.E. also works well for hot oil and power steering fluid. These hoses will take high pressure and cycle over and over without failure, and they also are easily suitable for use with nitrous oxide.
P.T.F.E. powder is extruded into a smooth bore tube product. The tube is then fed into a machine that weaves stainless wire into the familiar braided pattern. The hose is inspected 100% and any flawed sections are discarded.
