Details
The 28975310 Forged 5150 LS Turbocharged Camshaft is a boosted-focused camshaft option for GM Gen III and Gen IV LS engines, offered in Stage 1, Stage 2, or Stage 3 profiles to match your power goals. Built from 5150 induction-hardened chromium (a material commonly used in OEM applications), it’s designed to be a durable, high-performance upgrade that supports turbocharged LS combinations without blowing the budget.
Each stage increases duration and (in Stage 3) lift to push airflow and power potential further, with lobe separation moving wider as the stages step up—helpful for managing boosted power characteristics. All stages use a 3-bolt cam gear attachment and call for 0.660 valve springs. As with any cam swap—especially on boosted builds—piston-to-valve clearance should be verified during assembly.
