The alternator was a breeze to install. Just don't forget to disconnect the battery, (I did not forget). The new Ford chrome alternator actually produces more amps than the old original one. It was installed in a 1968 Ford Mustang GT. The quality of the chrome was also in my opinion a 5 star rating. I other wards, I really like the alternator.
