Speedway Motors 91618014 Details

Mounts a 351M-400 Ford V8 into almost any frame up to 38" wide. Uses heavy 1-3/4" O.D. mild steel tubing. 17" center to center mount tubes for the engine motor mounts.  6" drop from center of upper tube to center of lower tube.


NOTE: We've found a lot of variation in width of Ford blocks. Bolt the cushion to the block first to get proper width measurement. Mounts are not returnable once they've been altered or installed!

Specs

Starts with a 6 inch drop tube at 71 degree makes it 5.675 inch drop

With my application I used this on a 1974 Ford 400 in a 1959 F100. My motor has 3-bolt motor mounts with is an oddball engine. I needed to cut the mounting tabs off the crossmember to reposition with use of the 3-bolt engine mounts. If my application used the 2-bolt motor mounts this would had fit perfect.

The cross member did not come with triangular mounts in the photo, and it doesn't even remotely fit my 1978 Ford 351m that I ordered it for. Ended up cutting the brackets off, and re-welding them on in the right spot. Ohh well.

the cross member-motor mount is a very nice piece, but I did not recieve the bolt on triangular flanges that come with the crossmember.

Motor mount does not fit my 1979 ford 400. My motor mount to mount is 19" apart. The cross member is 17" apart. Do t know if there are other mounts that make this work or not please help.
