FK Rod Ends ALJM3 Details
FK Rod Ends offers this three piece male heim. The ball is made of 52100 steel that is heat treated and hard chrome plated. The body is made of aluminum and is hard anodized red. The race is heat treated steel alloy that has been zinc plated and chromate treated.
- Ball is 52100 steel, heat treated and hard chrome plated
- Body is 7075-T6 aluminum, hard anodized red
- Race is alloy steel, heat treated, zinc plated, chromate treated
Applications: Clutch, brake, steering linkage, and suspension components on moderate horsepower applications.
Assembly Tip: To ease assembly, be sure to run a tap or die through the threads on chrome plated fasteners and apply an anti-seize compound to prevent galling of the threads.
