Speedway Motors 91632021 Details
If you are building a traditional 1932 Ford and want to mount a 1953-1956 F-100 steering box to your chassis, this steering box wedge is a must. CNC machined of aluminum and requires no modifications to the box.
Note: This steering box wedge only fits the 1953-1956 Ford F-100 box. Mounts box in original location. Original holes must be filled and redrilled.

The wedge angle was wrong for my application, a 28 Model A roadster on 32 rails with LHD F100 steering box . The angle on the plate was not enough to get the steering column in a suitable position in relation to the dash. I had to get another aluminium plate milled to suit.

The wedge was of the correct shape and angles however, when installed it was to thick. Because of this, the sector shaft no longer came thru the frame far enough so that the pitman arm could be attacted. The wedge needed to be about 3/16" thinner. I am not sure what the problem is as I have an original 1932 Ford frame and used a 1956 Ford F100 steering box so everything should have been fine?
