Used ones are either cracked or corroded beyond use. These 100% new aluminum front timing covers have both fuel pump and dipstick provisions. Allows you to use mechanical fuel pump on later engines. Includes plug for dipstick hole if not required.
Fits 1966-84 Ford 289/302/351W V-8 engines.

For the price, i was expecting a typical rough cast finish, but this cover had a very smooth finish that can be polished easily.

much much prefer oem older type with inside well that oil seal sits in rather than new type although you can change the seal without taking the timing cover off its a small price to pay knowing on the old type you cant blow the oil seal out on the old one because it is in a well with a stop no problem even with 400 hp ill have to wait and see with this one just hope for no glitch in the PCV!
