    Overall Assessment

Customers view the throttle cable bracket as a crucial component for Vortec head swaps on older small block Chevys, recognizing its quality and practicality. However, its geometry seems to be incompatible with a Vortec intake, positioning cables at a severe angle, indicating a potential design flaw. The opinions on its usability and design are mixed.

Nice bracket. I had to modify it to fit a non Edelbrock intake on a 350 Vortec carbureted build.

Does not work on a Vortec intake. Geometry of the bracket is wrong. Positions the throttle and tv cables at a severe angle behind the carb instead of next to it...Terrible design, Edelbrock.
