We used this switch as the disconnect between the battery and the winch on our riding mower recovery trailer. It works great and having the rubber cover protects it from the weather.

I got this to put on my 68 Chevy Truck to keep me from having to disconnect my Battery whenever I Park it and also as a Safety Feature to keep it from being stolen. It was way better than I was expecting and exactly what I needed. Thanks

how does this mount? I'm concerned as, I can't see the bottom side of the device. And don't understand how it is insulated when mounted on steel.
