EPAS 800020 Hybrid Electric & Column Kit, Black

This electric power steering kit is designed to be a solution for early cars and trucks that have the steering box and column all in one piece. In order to not have to modify your entire vehicle this kit will allow you to use the lower portion of your OEM equipment with our electric power steering kit and IDIDIT shorty steering column.

HOW IT WORKS:

The computer measures the amount of effort on the steering wheel and amplifies it with the aid of the electric motor. An ADJUSTABLE POTENTIOMETER gives you control over the amount of assistance provided, allowing you to fine tune your EPAS experience. For example, you can have maximum power assist while on a parking lot, and less on the highway. The system is only active while turning. The GPS AUTO ADJUST option will do the same thing automatically based on your vehicles speed.
