Simple solution and does double duty
I had a custom plate bracket on my 49 Plymouth. Was billet. I wanted something more period looking as the entire car was 50's correct. The original setup was shaved and filled in so needed both a light and bracket.. this made it easy. Also I have a 6 volt positive ground system.. I swapped bulb to a 6 volt and mounted it. Made a very easy remedy. A universal item !

You get exactly what you pay for. The price is low and is the quality. These may be good for buggys, but not street rods.
