I couldn't be more happy with this new bumper. It was a complete pain in the rear to get the old assembly removed. If you run into the same issues as myself you'll need an angle grinder to get them separated. The original 40+ year old carriage bolts behind the pad where rusted so they free spin. I wasn't able to get a good enough bite with vice grips so I had to grind 5 of them off. Anyways once you get the assembly separated give it a good cleaning. Also, be sure to purchase a bolt + clip kit because the old stuff is highly unlikely to be reusable.
