    The original tailgate on my truck was in rough shape. After spending most of a day removing paint, trying to pull dents, etc, I decided to look for a replacement. Could not be happier. This one happened to be on sale, and had good reviews. It arrived a few days later. Was concerned when the outer box had a hole in it, but the tailgate was double boxed and in the manufacturer's box. Pulled it from the box, no damage. Compared it to my 75 year old relic and it is a great reproduction. Even the raised letters matched. Had it installed on the truck within the half hour. Looks great. Of course I will have to remove it to paint it to match the truck, but I've saved countless hours of bodywork on that rough antique tailgate. I highly recommend this product.

    It is a great deal vs 3-4 days welding trying to patch the old tail gate . The part worked out perfect. I just glaze puttied the spot welds , every thing was straight

    This appears to be a very well made product and a perfect reproduction of the original tailgate that must be replaced due to severe rust. The finish was great and the tailgate will require no body work, other than light sanding before it is painted.
