When you put modern disc brakes on your 1965-1968 Chevy full-size car (Bel-Air, Biscayne, Impala), you should update the master cylinder as well. Stock 4-wheel drum master cylinders do not have the capacity to supply the proper amount of volume for disc brakes. For best results, we recommend using this simple, bolt-on master cylinder booster kit on all disc front drum rear combinations.

Bought this kit about two years ago, in the process of putting my project car together. Today was the first drive of the car, I get to work this morning and find the proportioning valve leaking out of the pin area on the front end of the valve. Every connection to the valve is tight, so it is the valve itself leaking around the pin. I have done some checking and believe this valve is the CPP PV2 which is a common leaker.
