DEi has improved their Boom Mat damping material. Now with 4mm of damping material, it is 33% thicker than the original verisons. Boom Mat is a simple and effective yet high quality solution for eliminating low frequency typical automotive noises. You simply trim the Boom Mat to the desired size, peel the backing and apply to a clean surface. Boom Mat is constructed of a viscoelatic polymer layer that is protected by a durable aluminum wear surface. Boom Mat's strong adhesive backing is unaffected by event the most extreme hot and cold temperatures. Boom Mat's can be applied horizontal, vertical and inverted on most automotive surfaces including metal, plastic, and fiberglass. Use as a first layer for areas with contours and bends for vibration damping needs.
