Muffler Shield Kit solves the problem of heat soak into interiors and components from mufflers that are close to floors.
The Best muffler shield/wrap on the market. Based off our proven Floor and Tunnel II heat shield, our new Muffler Shield is designed to wrap around just about any size muffler. Includes our tough Stainless Steel positive locking ties for a tight secure installation. Made from 10mil dimpled aluminum with a 1/8" needle glass insulator it can be easily trimmed to fit most mufflers. Greatly reduces radiant heat coming off your muffler resulting in a cooler interior and protection from damaging heat.
NOTE: intended for street legal vehicle use only.

Nice material
Great kit but odd that they give you enough material to do maybe 3 mufflers but only enough clamps to do one. Had to spend extra money to buy more clamps from Amazon because they couldn't get more through Speedway.

I would buy this product again
Outer and inner layers of insulation materials are fine. Fairly easy to cut, but allow more material width when measuring the girth of your muffler. If you don't you'll end up with proper length but not enough to completely wrap around the muffler. What I do not like are the 4 straps included in each kit. The teeth which engage in the recesses as you tighten straps are quite short and may pop loose as you torque the straps. I've made do with them, but if/when they fail, I'll replace with Steelsoft hose clamp kit (strapping comes in bulk and includes strong clamps similar to radiator clamps).

There is not enough material to completely cover two turbo mufflers, without adding a small piece to the top of the mufflers. Also there are only four " cheap " attachment straps included. I added two cut to fit hose clamps to secure the insulation.
