    These are a must for your doors to operate properly. The real way to install them is with the $11 installation tool from your parts store. Squeeze the spring a little at a time in the vise and tighten the tool a little at a time also until the spring is fully collapsed.

    I rebuilt my 68 camaro door hinges and was going to keep the stock springs in because they still worked but i figured since i got into them that far i mize well replace the springs too and what a difference they make opening the door and when they land on the stops but really when i shut them right before the door latches click the new springs actually very slighly help pull the door shut and keep it more snug. Friggin awesome!
